Learner demand already exists
Students and staff are using general-purpose models today, often without approved sources, institutional context or a record.
A complete multi-tenant learning management system
Axiomatic Vector Intelligence Engine
AVIE (Axiomatic Vector Intelligence Engine) by AEI Labs is a complete institutional platform for programmes, assessment, cohorts, reporting and governance—with a grounded AI tutor woven through every part of it.

Every learner answer comes from faculty-approved material, follows stated outcomes and remains on the record.
One platform carries the teaching, assessment, governance and AI.
The institutional reality
Learners and staff already use generic AI. Without an accountable institutional option, that use happens against unapproved sources and outside any governance boundary.
Students and staff are using general-purpose models today, often without approved sources, institutional context or a record.
A wrong answer under an institutional badge can become an academic-integrity case, a compliance finding or a reputational cost.
Legacy platforms add AI as a plugin without the grounding, tenancy or answer trail an institution needs.
No grounding, no audit trail and no tenancy guarantee means there is nothing responsible buyers can sign.
The institution misses the support opportunity while ungoverned usage continues to grow around it.
The complete institutional platform
AVIE is a full LMS for the learner, the programme team, institutional operations and the people who sign the risk register.
In practiceRun programmes, modules, lessons, seminars and study groups in one place learners can use on web and mobile. How it worksRun programmes, modules and lessons; deliver cohorts and seminars; support learners through course navigation, notebooks, calendar, community, study groups and native mobile access.
In practiceSet work, mark against agreed standards, moderate results and recognise completion through one joined-up process. How it worksCreate assignments and assessments, apply rubrics and marking workflows, support moderation and issue certificates when learners complete the required work.
In practiceGive exam boards, accreditation teams and administrators a clear trail through decisions, reports and AI answers. How it worksOperate exam-board and accreditation workflows, moderation tooling, cohort reporting and audit logs—including the trail of AI answers issued under the institution's badge.
In practiceUse the institution’s normal sign-in, branding, access rules and data controls rather than managing a separate island. How it worksSingle sign-on, SCIM provisioning, institutional branding, data-retention controls and tenant isolation give IT and governance teams the expected operating surface.
In practiceBring documents and recorded teaching into the approved body of material AVIE can use when supporting learners. How it worksDocuments are converted, chunked and embedded. Lecture audio is transcribed by self-hosted speech services so the institution's actual teaching—not only its PDFs—becomes answerable.
In practiceGive every learner support from approved teaching, guided by faculty outcomes and reviewable by the institution. How it worksEvery learner gets a tutor constrained to approved material, steered by faculty outcomes and recorded for both learner transparency and administrative review.
Two learning environments
The accountability requirements are shared. The language and operating context are specific.
Academic institutions
AVIE works across programmes, faculty material, accreditation workflows and learner cohorts.
Corporate L&D
Policies, playbooks and product knowledge become a governed learning corpus for the workforce.
The institutional chain
Programmes, lessons and outcomes flow into assessment, moderation and the exam board without losing their relationships. The accreditation file is built by the academic work, rather than reconstructed after it.
AVIE in motion
Teaching, assessment, access and AI support sit in one governed system, with a visible record of what learners were told.Programme delivery, assessment, identity and grounded inference operate inside the same institutional control plane and answer trail.
Each short scene shows one job the platform takes care of and the useful result it leaves behind. Each loop isolates one workflow, its state change, its control boundary and the record it produces.
Legacy LMS with an AI plugin
Grounding, tenancy and answer trails become extensions around an architecture that was designed long before institutions needed to govern AI.
AVIE by AEI Labs
In practiceAVIE makes accountable support part of the learning platform from the start. Approved teaching, separated institutions and reviewable answers share one foundation. How it worksYour approved corpus is the axiom set. Verification, isolation and the answer trail run through the LMS rather than arriving as plugins afterwards.
Where this is used
Different learning environments, all answerable for what their learners were taught. Choose the setting closest to yours.
01 / Universities
It is the night before a submission deadline. Across a large cohort, the same questions are being asked repeatedly, and most are answered somewhere in the module materials.
The module leader answers what they can. The rest goes to a discussion board, a personal tutor with a full caseload or nowhere. Many students have already opened a general AI assistant and received an answer that has nothing to do with how this department teaches the topic—sometimes contradicting it outright. The institution then carries the academic-integrity cases, inconsistent guidance and a quality story nobody can evidence.
With AVIE
Students already have access to AI. AVIE gives them one that answers from your material and leaves a record.
02 / Colleges and further education
An FE cohort spans a broad range of prior attainment, often with significant additional support needs, taught by teams who are stretched before term starts.
The learners who most need to ask a question again—slowly, without embarrassment and at their own pace—are often the least likely to ask it in a room. So they do not ask, and they fall behind quietly until it appears in retention reporting.
With AVIE
The learner receives consistent support; the institution retains the evidence of what support was given.
03 / Corporate learning and development
A policy changes. Training goes out. Completion rises, the dashboard turns green and the L&D lead reports it.
Three months later, somebody does the thing the policy prohibits and says—honestly—that they did not know. Completion was never evidence of understanding, and the real questions surface at the moment of doing the work, not during the module. The questions that do get asked often go to a line manager whose answer comes from the version of the policy they learned two roles ago.
With AVIE
The record connects completion, understanding and the exact policy version behind each answer.
04 / Professional bodies and CPD
A member has a practice question. Their professional body has published authoritative guidance on it: technical releases, standards, practice notes and a decade of updates.
They search the website, find an older release and a recent update that appear to say different things, and cannot tell which supersedes which. So they ask a peer forum or a general AI and act on whatever comes back. The authority is real and the guidance is right; its delivery is losing to convenience.
With AVIE
The member gets the body’s current position, and the body keeps the record behind it.
05 / Regulated workforce training
Healthcare trusts, financial-services firms and organisations with a competence regime carry the same obligation: demonstrate that named people were trained on current requirements and evidence it on request.
Most organisations can produce completion records. Far fewer can produce what the person was actually taught, because the material has since been revised and the platform records completion rather than the version completed. When guidance changes mid-cycle, some of the workforce may have trained on the old version and nobody can say precisely who.
With AVIE
The organisation can produce both the completion record and the teaching record behind it.
Universities, colleges, employers and professional bodies differ in almost every respect. They share one exposure: they are answerable for what their learners were told.
Oversight without guesswork
Learners see the source behind their support. Faculty can see how their material is being used. Governance teams can inspect the same trail, including refusals, without relying on a separate account of what the system did.
For the risk register
The deployment conversation should start with the failure modes, not hide them behind a polished demo.
AVIE is a full replacement, not a plugin. The migration argument is the AI layer: fail-closed grounding cannot be retrofitted reliably onto a platform that was not built around it. An institution can begin with one programme and run it alongside the existing estate.
No. AVIE amplifies their approved material and stated outcomes. Faculty and programme owners remain the source of truth; AVIE scales their availability.
Your corpus is retrieval material, not model-training data. Tenant isolation is enforced at the database layer and covered by the engine's test suite.
No. A provider seam separates AVIE from any single model. The architecture is built to support standard API-compatible and open-weight deployments as those options pass the required quality gates.
